Deadline: Junior-lien demands due within the redemption period (580.10). Owner paid after no redemption.
Minn. Stat. 580.10 (2025 c.35 art.10). Pays mortgagor/reps/assigns. Sheriff mails surplus notice. Competing claims → sheriff petition/court (580.28). No pre-escheat fee cap found.

Deadline: File within 6 months of first mailed notice (282.005 subd.6). Missed claims extinguished; proceeds stay in county fund (subd.9).
Tyler origin state. 2024 c.127 art.70 created 282.005 (initial auction only, not later inventory sales). Pre-2024: $109M settlement (2024 ch.113); regular claims closed 6/6/2025. No fee cap found.
